Just making sure...is this kind of like a Facebook set up? Where we can share pictures, ideas, and follow cool things? Are we supposed to follow each other too? Not sure what I'm supposed to do now. Lol!

I like this idea! I created a class so I'm excited to play around with it. I don't know if this would be possible, but it would also be cool to create local groups. I have a parent in IF who has asked about a way to connect with local parents. I'm not sure if it would work out, but something to think about for next year maybe?

Yes. Honestly, my idea is to replace the Forum with groups so what is currently there with geographic groups would move here. Families could connect with each other in different ways such as different homeschooling philosophies, subjects, etc. There's lots of ways that it could be used. With the Forum, there's just not a lot of traffic. With groups, I think there could be and would love your thoughts.
If you "follow" individuals you can get notifications when they post. As a parent that will help filter posts you don't care to see, but you can encourage your parents to follow you to make sure they get important information. As admins you can create your own group then add families by inviting them through email.

Yes. Kind of like that, Jaime. I think it could be a way for you to connect your families together. It has the capability of creating events such as a class or something you might be doing and inviting families to that with reminders that would automatically go out. You can also share pics and videos, etc.
