Course Options

Any class or correspondence course that is taken from another school while enrolled with Sugar-Salem must be approved by the administration of the school. The school will allow a maximum of 20 such courses to be counted toward graduation.

Skills Checklist

Students will be required to meet all skills indicated for each course they register for. Students will be able to chose their curriculum and any other resources of their choice to help them meet the requirements in the skills checklist. Cost $0

Directed Courses

Students have the option to take directed courses. Directed courses have all core requirements loaded into a Canvas course and Sugar-Salem Online Teachers will provide grading and feedback.

IDLA

Students have the opportunity to sign up for courses through Idaho Digital Learning Alliance. These courses are taught online via the Schoology Platform. IDLA will report student's progress to SSO and provide a grade. Cost $75

Dual Credit

Students have the opportunity to register for dual credit courses through local universities and programs. Please speak to your mentor regarding these courses. Each college will have its own set of requirements and expectations.
