I am the mother to 14 kids that range in age from 4-39! Ten of our kids are adopted or in permanent guardianship, including the 5 we currently have at home, and are homeschooling.

To break it down, we have 9 adult kids ages 29-39, and 5 of these are adopted/guardianshipped, and then the younger 5 who are ages 4 - PreK, 5- K, 7- 2nd, 10- 4th and 11 - 6/7th. These 5 are all biological siblings, and we have had the older two for nearly 5 years, and the younger three for nearly 4 years! Three of the kids have special needs, and at least two are gifted. Boy what a challenge!

My husband and I own our own business, (dirt work stuff) and I am a Professional Speaker and Foster Parent Trainer for Eastern Washington University working with Idaho Health & Welfare, training PRIDE for Fostering Idaho Training.

I would LOVE to help direct a homeschool drama/musical group someday, and have a show! I also hope to make some great new friends for both my kids and myself.

I am blessed to be gifted with great genes that allow me to look like Mom instead of Grandma, but don't be fooled, I am a Nana, and I am expecting my 16th grandchild in January! I am also an experienced and professional mom with over 80 kids through our doors in the past 34 years.

I love to cook, I love teach, and I love to travel!

Prior to becoming a professional mom, I was in medical and hospitality management. I often miss it, although I have had a few stints where I have gone back for a bit to help places out. I am also a remarried widow, I lost my first husband of 13 years, 23 years ago in a motor vehicle accident that was very public and very horrific. My first husband was hit when a driver bent over to pick up his cellphone off the floor of the passenger side, crossing two lanes of traffic and hitting my hubby head on. The next 4 years were filled with trials of many kinds!

In my speaking I have a tag line.... "Weathering Life's Storms and Living to SHINE ON!" The storms have not ceased, slowed at times, but not ceased, yet I still SHINE!

Currently we are teaching eclectically and trying to have a lot of fun while we learn a lot, often while on the go!!
